Background
I believe a designer reflects elements of personality in their creations, which showcases more than their experience in the field of design alone.
A brief overview of my background, inspirations and influences as a designer – the purpose of this page is to express my own artistic freedom and style in which my design skills are both included and accompanied by other passions
A passion for machines
My love for machines, especially those with 2 wheels, forms my foundational knowledge for mechanical workings and contributes to my ability to understand how products function and operate.
Flight
An appreciation for all things airborne plays a major influence in my knowledge of emerging technologies, specialised materials, and product engineering.
Photography
Photography shares the same appreciation for pleasing angles, and often seems to compliment my design style in an aesthetic sense. Developing a skillset to play with light and colour has proven to be quite useful when rendering design drawings.
Skateboarding
An early love for riding and making skateboards helped to develop my hands-on prototyping skills. In my first real-world design project, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to design and develop a prototype Downhill skateboard in collaboration with Comet skateboards.
Music
My love for music has been the ultimate gateway into the rest of the artistic world. I find playing guitar also shares a sense of creative thinking and improvisation that is related to design thinking and idea exploration.
